Native Plant ID Workshop III

Friends, we are planning a third and final Native Plant ID Workshop this spring.
Instructor- Bill Carr, Acme Botanical Services
Location- Spicewood Ranch, Spicewood, Texas,
10am to 2:30pm, Saturday, May 13.
Registration required and limited to 15 participants
Cost- $25 to be paid in person at the workshop

Spicewood Ranch is a 1,200 acre ranch 45 minutes west of Austin.  Environmental Survey Consulting has been doing habitat restoration and research on the ranch for almost 30 years.  The workshop will be conducted by Bill Carr, a plant geek with 35 years of field experience in Texas. During lunch, we can use the Spicewood Ranch Herbarium to look at specimens of some interesting members of the local flora.  Please bring your own lunch. Schedule is subject to change.

Take Hwy 71 west to Spicewood.  Turn right on Spur 191.  Continue straight on County Road 410.  When CR 410 turns sharply to the right, continue STRAIGHT on County Road 411 until you get to the Colorado River and the Narrows Recreation Area. We will meet in the parking lot and carpool to our destinations.
