Please join us for a workshop on the Zilker Botanical Garden stream restoration project on Tuesday, October 31st.
Led by: David Mahler, Senior Ecologist and Vice President, Environmental Survey Consulting
We will walk through the 200 foot riparian zone and its .2 acre native plant garden. Topics include a discussion of the species utilized and native habitat garden design. This new stream and riparian zone was designed and installed by ESC in the first four months of 2017 and connects the Rose Garden pond to the Taniguchi Japanese Garden.
Although the workshop is free, attendees will be required to pay the Garden admission fee:
$1 for children (ages 3-12)
$2 for adults, Austin resident (ages 13-61)
$3 for adults, non-resident (ages 13-61)
$1 for seniors (age 62 and over)
Please plan on arriving no later than 9:45 am.
